Chapter Sixteen - in which Beth had her first cold (amongst other things)...

Once she had got over her Very Bad Cold, Beth visited Grannie in Brighton. This involved some rather inelegant eating at the Clackett Lane services:


Beth also discovered the joys of standing, polishing (?), painting, reading and playing on the swings:

Chapter Fifteen - in which Beth is christened...

Beth was christened at Great St Mary's in Cambridge on 24th September - she wore Daddy's christening gown (but not long enough for many pictures!). Afterwards, Beth enjoyed lunch at Brown's, followed by cake!
