Chapter Thirteen - In which Beth goes to the seaside and discovers solid food
Beth started on pureed pear, which remains her favourite dish:

She's also partial to chewing on the odd carrot (when she isn't scaling the kitchen surfaces):

In August, we went to visit Grandad in Devon. Beth wasn't wildly enthusiastic about going in the sea...


Sitting on Mummy's lap was better - and she even managed to get some sand between her toes...


Back at the house, Beth had a nice chat with Uncle Andrew while Daddy and Red Monkey had a nap:


We also went to Fareham to visit Nanny Ros and to do some planting...
